Trivia Night is the
annual major fundraiser for Little Elm Friends of the Library in
Little Elm, Texas. Now in its 15th year, Trivia has been a
major tradition for many of Little Elm's residents and
businesses. It's a fun and competitive way to interact with
friends, family, and coworkers. Over the years, the Friends
organization has used proceeds to purchase many resources for
the Little Elm Public Library, including reference books,
furniture, computers, sculptures, online resource subscriptions,
and much more. Thanks to recent Trivia events, we
have also raised over $35,000 to apply toward the upcoming library
expansion.
Each year, the event hosts up to 50 teams
from the community to compete against each other during an
evening of fun, food, and prizes. Concessions (BBQ sandwiches,
chips, pizza, popcorn, drinks, and candy) are available at the
event, so we ask that you do not bring in outside food. We
also have great drawings and a silent auction. Awards will be given out for best team
costumes and best team spirit. The grand prize for the trivia
competition is $500 cash to the winning team!

You can register
your team by printing out
this form, which can be
dropped off with payment at the Little Elm Public Library
(Town Hall) or mailed to Little Elm Friends of the Library,
PO Box 598, Little Elm TX 75068-0598. Deadline
for receiving VIP Table registration is February 20,
2013.
Regular table registrations can be received by February 24 or
submited at the event ($90) before 6:15pm. The
earlier you register, the closer you are to the front!

VIP Table includes:

Reserved seating with table-top book theme.
Books will be donated in the team’s name to the
Little Elm Public Library after the Trivia event.

Special VIP waiters/waitresses assigned to your VIP tables.

1 (two topping) 13” pizza and 1 basket of popcorn for each
table and a drink for each VIP team member

Team name in
Trivia 2013 program and on event entry greeting sign.

Free raffle ticket for each player

The winning team gets possesion of the coveted Trivia
trophy until Trivia 2014!

Trivia Night will be
held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Concessions
will be available at 6pm. Registered team
members must be seated at their designated table by 6:45pm
and are the only participants allowed to sit at that table
throughout the event.
The event is
now being held at the new Little Elm Recreation Center at
303 Main St (near Lakeshore Dr) in Little Elm. Please see map
below. We will be in the main gym. |

Thanks to everyone who participated in our 15th Annual Trivia Night
event! We had a record 56 teams playing and our new
venue at the Rec Center turned out great! We're still
crunching the numbers, but so far we show net income this year of
almost $13,000, another record.
February 23, 2013
VIP Tables are no longer available. Regular tables can be
purchased online through February 25 and at the event until 6pm.
We have record number of team tables this year.
Also, there will be many wonderful silent auction and raffle prizes
available, thanks to Debbie Greenslade!
Fire Chief Joe
Florentino and Parks & Rec Director Tony Chrisman willl be manning
our concession stand. Please thank them for volunteering
for our event when purchasing your goodies. Come hungry!

The big event is just a few weeks away! We are more than halfway sold
out of tables, so get your reservation in. We're really
looking forward to our relocated venue in the new Recreation Center!
We have a handful of placemat ads left, if your business is
interested in some cheap ($25) advertising to a lot of local folks.

We had 14 VIP Tables take advantage
of our early bird registration by November 1 for a bonus dessert.
Last week, we purchased 35
brand new computers for the expanded library with $28,000 raised
from recent Trivia Night events!

Facebook page.
Now in our 15th year, the big event is
moving to the brand new
Little Elm Recreation Center. Thanks to Little Elm
ISD for providing the venue for the past several years!
We
have a new perk for this year's Trivia event! Register your VIP
table by November 1 and we will provide a free dessert
for your table at the event!
